Activate:Love 2016 was a huge success, so we are doing it again in 2017!
As we sent a team around New Zealand to hear what is on the hearts of God’s people we heard two common themes, unity and outreach. These words came up time and time again all over the nation. We believe God is uniting His body in this nation, and that from that place of unity and family we reach out to our own nation of New Zealand, but also fulfil God’s mandate on Kiwis to impact the nations of the earth. It’s who we are.
Activate:Love 2017 is going to be a time of GATHERING where all types of different churches, ministries and nationalities are invited to come to Tauranga for 3 days of united worship, prayer and practical training on what it looks like to reach New Zealand, that we would work together to see every kiwi love God, every kiwi love the church and every kiwi love the lost.
We will then be SENDING teams out from this united gathering for up to 2 months of outreach.
Teams will be sent across the land to radically and practically love the lost, to serve and encourage churches and to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth through prayer and worship. In the last 2 years of Activate:Love we have seen over 6000 individual kiwis in this nation lovingly encountered with the gospel. In 2016 we believe God wants to make an even greater impact through normal human beings putting their hands up and saying here am I, send me.
After the sending phase is over we will gather again in Tauranga to share testimonies and to spend time CELEBRATING God for who He is and what He has done, it is always all about Jesus, nothing else.
